OpenBeta BarCamp is an intensely participant-driven event where attendees share and learn in an open environment. The BarCamp theme is web design and development.
All attendees are required to participate by giving a talk, being on a panel, demonstrating designs or code, giving a tutorial, leading or participating in a discussion, or volunteering to help organize, promote or staff the event.
The event is organized organically the day of the event. People propose presentations and it all gets sorted out at the beginning. Trust us, it just works.
BarCamp is an open learning environment. For the benefit of everyone, at and after the event, you will be expected to share. If you give a talk, we'll tape your presentation and distribute it online with your slides afterwards. If you participate on a panel, we'll stream your video live. If you write a tutorial or a blog post, we'll link to your site.
